This was the first time in a long time that the entire family was able to be together, and the excitement was in the air.
The family had all come from various parts of Gauteng, such as Soweto, Daveyton, and Greenstone. Everyone had made an effort to dress according to the family theme of the day, which was a combination of Yellow and Black and White.

The ladies were wearing beautiful stylish yellow dresses and the elderly women in the family were beautiful traditional designer dresses, the men wore smart and stylish wear while others wore their traditional shirts with jeans.
The entire family was brought together by the delicious meal prepared by the host. The menu was a mix of traditional South African dishes such as pap and vleis, as well as some more modern dishes such as grilled vegetables and a variety of salads. Everyone enjoyed the food, and soon the conversation was flowing freely.
The afternoon was filled with laughter as everyone reminisced about old times, shared stories, and made plans for the future. Everyone was filled with hope for the coming year and was grateful to be able to spend time with their loved ones.
